BROOKLYN -- JANUARY 31, 2009: Rapper James "Brooklyn Chase" Glover, 24, records a music video in the Medgar Evers Houses in Bedford Stuyvesant for a song recorded with the "Lay the Guns Down Campaign" on January 31, 2009 in Brooklyn. Glover's involvement with the "Lay the Guns Down Campaign," began after his 18 year-old neighbor Khiel Coppin was shot to death by NYPD officers on November 12, 2007. The officers believed Coppin, who allegedly had a history of mental problems, was armed with a gun. It turned out Coppin was holding a hairbrush. (PHOTOGRAPH BY MICHAEL NAGLE)
