BROOKLYN -- JUNE 1, 2005:  NYC Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly holds up the kevlar bullet proof vest NYPD officer Patrick Caprice was wearing when he was shot by David Redden on June 1, 2005 in Brooklyn.  Redden, who was seen buying marijuana by officer Caprice was pursued 10 blocks before the shooting.  After fleeing the scene, Redden was found dead with a self-inflicted gun shot wound.
