BROOKLYN -- APRIL 18, 2007: The coffin of Professor Liviu Librescu is carried from Shomrei Hachomos in Borough Park on April, 18, 2007 in Brooklyn. Librescu, an Israeli-American scientist and academic professor who survived the holocaust, was shot and killed during the Viginia Tech shooting while holding off the shooter, helping all but one of his students escape.
